Actos: Bladder Cancer

If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with bladder cancer after taking Actos, you may be entitled to recover money in an Actos bladder cancer personal injury lawsuit or settlement. Contact an Actos bladder cancer lawyer for a free attorney case review.

A team of class action attorneys and personal injury lawyers has launched an investigation into Actos (generically known as pioglitazone), a Type 2 diabetes drug manufactured by Takeda Pharmaceuticals and co-marketed by Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reportedly has issued a drug safety communication about Actos warning patients and health professionals that use of the diabetes medication Actos (pioglitazone) for more than one year may be associated with an increased risk of bladder cancer.

Actos lawsuit claims potentially being investigated include cases where Actos patients and diabetics suffered one or more of the following symptoms, side effects and/or injuries after taking Actos:

  • bladder cancer
  • death caused by bladder cancer
  • urgent need to urinate while urinating
  • frequent urination
  • feeling of need to urinate without results
  • pain in back or lower abdomen

If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with bladder cancer after taking Actos, you may be entitled to recover money in an Actos bladder cancer personal injury lawsuit or settlement.**

**If you have used Actos and suffer from any side effects, symptoms or injuries, including bladder cancer, we urge you to promptly consult your doctor or physician for an evaluation.
