A team of class action and personal injury lawyers have launched
an investigation against Merck & Co., Inc.†,
the manufacturer of the cholesterol-lowering prescription drug
Zocor (simvastatin). The lawyers are reviewing complaints of people
who have suffered rhabdomyolysis, a rare condition where serious
muscle damage results in release of muscle cell contents into
the bloodstream, after taking Zocor.
If you have taken Zocor, and have suffered muscle aches in your
calves, back or body, or pain accompanied by weakness, fever,
nasea, vomiting and passing dark urine, you might be entitled
to monetary damages.
